Tuesday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm, presenting: - Pearl (Google Spotlight Stories/Evil Eye Pictures) - Allumette (Penrose Studios) Wednesday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm, presenting: - Rain or Shine (Nexus, Google Spotlight Stories, with Felix Massie, Claire Cook and Mariano Melman) - Minotaur, from film to virtual reality (NFB, Canada, with Jelena Popovic and Munro Ferguson) Thursday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm, presenting: - Tilt Brush Demo (Google VR, with Antonio Canobbio, Chris Prynoski, Drew Skillman and Patrick Hackett) These experiences will be taking place in the "salle de création" at Bonlieu (across from rue Jean Jaurès). Mifa – Focus studio : Google Spotlight Stories – Once upon a time in 360 | ||||||||||||||||||
This panel discussion about animated creations in virtual reality will reunite some VIPs working in this groundbreaking realm. Karen Dufilho, Executive Producer at Google Spotlight Stories, and Jan Pinkava, Creative Director at Google, will be hosting a group of directors, pioneers and industry leaders for an in-depth look at creating animated stories in VR and other platforms. An exclusive first glimpse of their latest 360° VR short, Rain or Shine, will be presented by Felix Massie and Chris O'Reilly from Nexus Productions. There will also be a behind-the-scenes look at Pearl, Patrick Osborne’s latest short. A conversation with Aardman co-founder Peter Lord and the director of Special Delivery, Tim Ruffle will bring things to a close.
